Synton Inc. is proud to have a history reaching back to the beginning of the 20th century. The company has managed to be successful over 100 years of industrial history. In 1902 Alfred Jost founded the company “Préparages Jost”. The core business was to cut gem rubis for the watch industry. His vision of solid growth through the upcoming watch manufacturing industry, in this particular region of Switzerland was confirmed. In 1962 Synton Inc. was founded. The focus was on mass production of miniature parts. Synton’s commitment to quality and service has proven to be a successful part of the company’s long term strategy. Synton Inc. increased its international market position in that they acquired a number of companies. This process strengthened the company’s knowledge and position in the market.
